The longlist for the 2011 Alberta Readers' Choice Award has been announced! The submissions have been narrowed to a selction of thirty titles, all published in the last year by Alberta-based publishing houses. Librarians across the province will now vote on their favourite titles to create a Top 10 list. In January a juror of noted Albertans will be announced who will then have the tough job of selecting the final five titles to be presented to the public to vote on their favourite. The winner will be revealed in May 2011, with the author receiving $10,000!
