Finalists for the 24th annual Trillium Book Awards were released this morning. We're very pleased to congratulate several of our publishers and their authors on being nominated.
Nominated in the English Book Award category is Ken Sparling for his novel, Book, published by Pedlar Press.
LPG publishers swept the English Poetry Award category:
- Dani Couture for her collection, Sweet, published by Pedlar Press
- Jeff Latosik for Tiny, Frantic, Stronger, published by Insomniac Press
- Shane Neilson for Complete Physical, published by The Porcupine's Quill
- and Peter Norman for At the Gates of the Theme Park, publshed by Mansfield Press.
The Trillium Awards, awarded by the Government of Ontario, celebrate great literary achievement by Ontario authors. The public are invited to hear all of the nominees read on the evening of June 16th at the Toronto Reference Library before the winners are announced on June 17th at a luncheon with the Honourable Michael Chan, Ontario Minister of Tourism and Culture.
