April 5, 2010. April is Poetry Month in Canada and to celebrate The League of Canadian Poets released the shortlist for the 2010 Pat Lowther and Gerald Lampert Memorial Awards. These awards recognize a book of poetry written by a Canadian female published in the preceding year and the best book of poetry published by a Canadian in the preceding year, respectively.
