The Literary Press Group of Canada has hired Jack Illingworth in the role of Executive Director of the organization.

Illingworth, formerly the marketing technology consultant at the Association of Canadian Publishers (ACP) for the last three and a half years, will come on board the LPG in February 2009.

Illingworth has also worked with LPG member publisher The Porcupine's Quill, where he began his career as an intern and became assistant to publisher Tim Inkster.
