The shortlist for the 2010 Quebec Writers Federation Awards was recently announced with several LPG publishers and their authors making appearances.
Those nominated include:
Doug Harris for YOU Comma Idiot, published by Goose Lane Editions, for the Paragraphe Hugh MacLennan Prize for Fiction and the QWF First Book Prize.
Larissa Andrusyshyn for Mammoth, published by DC Books, for the QWF First Book Prize.
Avi Friedman for A Place in Mind: The Search for Authenticity, published by Vehicule Press, for the Mavis Gallant Prize for Non-Fiction.
Kate Hall for The Certainty Dream, published by Coach House Books, for the A.M. Klein Prize for Poetry.
Michael Harris for Circus, published by Vehicule Press, for the A.M. Klein Prize for Poetry.
